I'm Nick O'Malley, a designer and animator influenced by new and emerging technologies. A lot of my work consists of different aspects across the digital landscape, but always with a focus in motion and/or interaction.
Recently I've been experimenting with video games and virtual reality - creating virtual environments, objects and experiences - while also exploring the combination of 2D animation (frame by frame + vector) with 3D objects and animation.
Currently in progress to recieve a BFA in Graphic Design from SUNY Purchase College Spring of 2018. **Super currently in Hong Kong for an exchange program with the City University of Hong Kong's School of Creative Media !
Bollocks Biker !
A biking simulation game made while I was in Hong Kong. It's a game that questions typical game controls, forcing the uplayer to figure it out. Made using Blender and Blender Game Engine.
